Hi, I'm Cody. At 26 years old, I've spent 16 years cleaning windows and about 6 years running a window cleaning business in Saskatchewan. I started learning the trade at 10 from my father Serge, who cleaned windows across Canada for 30 years.
Every feature in Sergio solves a real problem I faced in the field: from optimizing routes to save fuel, to weather forecasts so I could reschedule proactively, to automated reminders that help reduce no-shows.
This isn't an app built by developers who've never held a squeegee. This is an operating system built by someone who understands your challenges because I live them every day.
Why I Built Sergio
Every piece of software I tried was built by developers who'd never touched a ladder. Jobber doesn't know what a French pane is, let alone what it's like running a window cleaning business. Housecall Pro charges per user, so adding summer help costs you money.
None of them check weather forecasts or understand that a 10-story commercial job prices differently than a bungalow. So I built what I actually needed: route optimization with turn-by-turn navigation, 14-day weather forecasts in the app, and a self-service customer portal—all at one price. No hidden fees, no per-user charges, no add-ons.
"The integrated phone system? I added that because I got a text at 9pm: 'Hey can you clean my windows this week?' from a customer I'd texted once, 18 months earlier, to say 'on my way, please have the dog inside.' They had my personal number. Never again."
I still clean windows. I use this every day. When something's broken, I fix it fast, because I'm the one stuck with it tomorrow morning.
Why "Sergio"?
The app is named after my father, Serge, who taught me everything about window cleaning. He cleaned windows across Canada for 30 years. Sergio is my way of honoring his legacy while building something that helps the next generation of window cleaners succeed.
